BluSky Carbon Inc. has announced a joint venture with Texas-based Red Mountain Biochar, LLC, to create a new entity called BluMountain Carbon. The partnership will focus on commercializing biochar production and related carbon removal technologies, particularly in the Southern United States. This venture aims to explore opportunities in biochar processing, carbon removal, and other related industries.

Red Mountain Biochar, known for transforming agricultural and forestry waste into biochar, brings extensive experience in sustainable industries like concrete, steel, and agriculture. The joint venture will capitalize on this expertise, alongside BluSky’s technological advancements and presence in carbon markets.

Both companies will fund the venture equally, focusing on the production of biochar and identifying new project financing opportunities. Red Mountain CEO Bill Wyatt highlighted BluSky’s technology and operations as key factors in forming the partnership. BluSky CEO Will Hessert echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the complementary strengths of the two companies.

Additionally, BluSky has engaged DSS-Digital Service Solution GmbH to handle investor relations activities, including content creation and search engine optimization, for a cash payment of USD $15,000.

BluSky Carbon is committed to carbon removal by converting waste into biochar, renewable energy, and carbonate rocks. Its business model targets the rising demand for carbon neutrality and CO2 reduction through the development of carbon capture technologies and the sale of biochar and carbon credits.
