Strategic Environmental & Energy Resources, Inc. (SEER) announced that its subsidiary, SEM, LLC, received an order from Biochar Now, LLC (BCN) to manufacture 33 kilns, totaling approximately $600,000. This order supports BCN’s nationwide expansion.

John Combs, CEO of SEER, highlighted that this collaboration with BCN marks a pivotal step in their growth strategy, facilitated by a shareholder with significant manufacturing expertise. This initial order is expected to be the first of many as SEER and BCN advance their domestic and international expansion plans.

James Gaspard, CEO of BCN, mentioned that BCN has established five operational sites in the US and Southeast Asia and is developing additional sites globally. The new kilns from SEER are designated for a biochar production site in Missouri. Gaspard emphasized the partnership’s role in optimizing kiln manufacturing to reduce capital expenditures and enhance production efficiency.

BCN, in collaboration with AgriCap Group, LLC, has introduced insured biochar carbon credits through its “Insured Carbon” program. These credits are validated and verified by independent auditors, ensuring their authenticity and reliability. BCN’s process, certified by ISCC Plus, utilizes sustainable wood to produce high-quality biochar.

Combs added that SEER plans to open a joint venture facility in Texas with BCN to produce biochar and explore processing fiberglass waste and other composites. SEER also aims to establish biochar facilities in Europe and Brazil, which will diversify revenue streams through equipment and product sales, and carbon credit revenues.

Further updates, including progress on their Saudi Arabian joint venture, will be announced soon.
