Biologika, a new bioinput network founded by farmers from the Argentine Association of No-Till Farmers (Aapresid), was formally introduced at the 2025 Aapresid Congress. This initiative arose from the challenges producers face in maximizing productivity with existing agricultural practices, especially when integrating biologicals with chemical inputs. Led by founder and CEO Maxmiliano Bordas, the network aims to assist farmers by offering a portfolio of new technologies and promoting a “return to agronomy.”

The network’s flagship product is Bioaktive, a liquid biological fertilizer distinguished by its composition, which includes 50% biochar. While leveraging the known benefits of biochar for soil health and carbon sequestration, the company highlights how this proprietary formulation, enhanced by controlled enzymatic hydrolysis, is specifically designed to activate soil microbiology, stimulate root growth, and enhance nutrient availability. This approach is intended to prevent soil degradation and improve fertility, providing a sustainable solution for modern agriculture.

Beyond its own product, Biologika operates as a distributor, representing solutions from several other companies, including multinational biologicals firm Koppert, as well as Patagonia, ALMag Solutions, Agrobio Latam, and Netzefy. This dual role—developing its own products while distributing others—positions the company as a central resource for farmers seeking integrated biological solutions. With sales representatives and consultants already active in Argentina’s primary row-crop regions, Biologika is poised to play a key role in the country’s agricultural landscape by bridging the gap between innovative bioinputs and practical, on-farm application.
