Carbon Unbound has announced the consolidation of its West Coast and East Coast events into a single conference designated as Carbon Unbound North America. Scheduled to take place in Vancouver, Canada, from March 23 to 24, 2027, the restructured summit reflects a strategic shift in how the organizer convenes stakeholders across the carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and climate technology ecosystems.

The restructuring addresses the market fragmentation created by hosting separate regional gatherings. Previously, dividing industry participants between distinct East Coast and West Coast venues prevented a single forum from capturing a comprehensive view of market dynamics. This division restricted cross-regional networking and split commercial opportunities between disparate buyer and supplier groups across North America.

To resolve these coverage gaps and optimize value for attendees, Carbon Unbound is replacing the separate events with a combined summit structure in Vancouver. The consolidated venue is designed to host over 600 senior industry leaders while increasing the concentration of demand-side buyers relative to supply-side providers. Operational efficiencies gained from hosting the event in Vancouver will allow the organizer to offer lower ticket pricing. Additionally, Carbon Unbound has introduced phased registration incentives—including complimentary passes, direct client introductions, and fee reductions—alongside dedicated travel allowances for past East Coast event alumni to ensure seamless transition to the new format.

The consolidation establishes a centralized platform intended to streamline agenda topics and enhance commercial interactions for the CDR sector in Canada. By assembling key decision-makers within a single event, Carbon Unbound aims to improve access to demand-side buyers and deliver more focused content.
